TAKEN! OOC PLOTTING    

This is a plotting post to get to know your groups and plot with other players! The info post for March's kidnapping plot may be found HERE. Although threads while in captivity and during the rescues are limited to characters within their own groups, there will be opportunities to thread with other characters, as well!

As far as abductions go, extremists will approach characters in a number of ways: asking for their help, surprise ambushes, etc. For the most part, these attempts will not be out in the open, but it's flexible otherwise. Characters can come up with their own scenarios and plan outside of their groups for kidnapping threads! In the end, they will be knocked out and taken away, with more details to come later. Hostage characters will be tricked or forced to wear a magical object that completely nerfs their powers, and this object cannot be removed.

All characters, including those who did not sign up for a plot role, may still participate in other ways. They may, for example, be witnesses to and fail to prevent another's kidnapping, spread the word around town about the incidents, and provide medical and emotional support to both hostages and rescuers. Everyone will need a bit of cheering up!

We have provided headers for each group for your convenience, but these are not exclusive to only members of that group. You may also make your own toplevel if you prefer.

Cam here is a trickster cleric so, once they find the captives, he will be especially looking out for those who are most injured/need magical healing the most. Also has plenty of tricky buffing spells that might come in handy if it comes down to sneaking or fighting.

Other than that, he doesn't know many of the victims, but he is a Good Guy so he will be right alongside everyone else, trying to find the victims. He also has the habit of dealing with stress by dumb jokes and in general acts a lot more blasé about serious things, so that might rub some of the other rescuers the wrong way.

On the other hand, Reign here will appreciate Cam's attempt at trying to lighten things up while they figure out where the hostages are held and save them. Because more often than not, Reign may require some anchoring especially when and if he finds out some of those hostages are his friends.

That aside, they can finally meet and have CR!!!

Yes! Sorry it's taken me so long to get out there more! I still don't know how Cam will react to a friendly vampire so it will be a learning experience fsdjfdslj. And Cam will be good for anchoring if Reign is freaking out a little, not just with jokes, but he's been involved in some pretty unpleasant rescue missions before, so... leads by experience??

With Cam's experience with similar beings like Reign, this would definitely prove to be an interesting encounter. I can't wait for their interaction.
