Greetings, El Nysa!
As we approach the end of the month, we would like all potential applicants to familiarize themselves with a set of new rules for the upcoming application cycle. While we are impressed by the enthusiasm exhibited in the growth of El Nysa, this is beyond the numbers and pace we intended for the game. Currently, we have over 200 characters, and each app round we’ve seen an astonishing number of applications: 188 in the first round and 138 in the second.
It's our goal to provide all interested PCs an opportunity to engage in the plot. As such, we believe monitoring the number of future apps would allow us to give the continued attention this game and its playerbase deserves.
Moving forward, we will implement an application cap of 60 applications per round. Players will be allowed to app one (1) character per round. We will also be limiting the amount of characters each individual would be permitted to app. While the number of characters a player may have in game was previously left to player discretion, the limit has been capped at three (3) characters per player. Those with more than three (3) characters presently will be grandfathered in. Due to the application cap, we will no longer be having reserves.
These changes are effective starting our next application round, beginning on November 19. The application cycles from here on will end when 60 apps have been received or 4 days after applications open, whichever comes first. The calendar has been updated to reflect this.
