HELLO. Grantaire is a rescuer and this is, essentially, his first chance to prove himself that he absolutely has to follow through with. He’s not really a man who’s full of motivation or faith but he cares about people and he won’t leave the hostages to suffer. He’ll have his “this is useless” moments but he’ll do his best.
