( mod address )
Greetings, El Nysa! We wanted to take this opportunity to address a couple of points regarding the game going forward. We realize that we've never directly addressed the playerbase on this point since we’ve opened, so here is a long overdue state-of.
Mod Team Additions —
First off, we have successfully made much-needed additions to the mod team. We would like to thank to those that have applied, as we would not be able to move forward under ideal circumstances without them. With additional hands on deck we will have the opportunity to keep up with elements we have implemented for the game, as well as introduce more as time goes on.
As a result, there will be no changes to the upcoming app round; the app cap will remain at 60 for February. While we reserve the right to make changes to the app cycle as we test the limits of our mod team, we will keep players up to date on any changes we make in advance of future app rounds. We thank you for your patience as we continue to explore our options to keep the game a pleasant experience for both players and mods.
Looking Ahead —
Regarding our plans for the game, our vision of the game has not changed since we opened it. As stated in the FAQ:What kinds of things will my character have the opportunity to be involved in in El Nysa? The mod team has always intended for El Nysa to be a choose-your-own-adventure style game with plot elements gradually introduced by quest-like event logs, NPCs and introduction of new locations. While we have been unable to implement plot via direct one-on-one interaction with NPCs as we'd originally planned, we have found success with answering your questions via the respective thread in our most recent intro log, as well as the mechanics of the Unaffiliated Quests in their current form. We intend to carry this over into our upcoming logs, as we feel it is a compromise that best suits both the players and mod availability.
As we are a build-your-own-adventure game, there are various things you can do. You can help the Nysan economy by building your own business. You can take on various jobs, gain your reputation, and get recruited by a faction to involve yourself in war. Perhaps you were once a pilot; there are always threats that lurk beyond El Nysa's solar system that could use mobile suit pilots. There are still unexplored territory in their land that adventurers can chart out.
Our current plan going forward in the next few months is to introduce more history regarding the Olympia and Wyver factions, alongside the relationship the Natha have with this world and others. Tensions addressed in the previous monthly outlines will be coming to the forefront soon in both cities, and player characters will be able to make more informed decisions about their place in this new world.
Player Feedback —
Finally, we are taking this moment to solicit feedback from you, the players. With the many aspects of the game and a wide variety of characters, we are asking for insight into what you as players have enjoyed the most, and what you would want to see utilized more often. Similarly, we would like to know what you think could be improved about the El Nysa experience.
We are looking for feedback on game content rather than the presentation of plot information; at this time, we have agreed as a mod team that our current system of using outlines vs. event logs as the plot demands is the most streamlined method for both presentation and our workload. We are also not looking for suggestions on our app rounds; as stated above, we reserve the right to adjust the app process as we see fit, so our existing policies may change with the size of the game.
Thank you for reading! We look forward to hearing from you.

QUESTIONS.

What I have enjoyed the most:
I love the world of El Nysa, both the politics and the more everyday, slice-of-life things. I love how characters can build all sorts of lives for themselves; the variety the game offers that way.
What I would want to see utilized more often:
Sometimes I think I'd like the plotty stuff to move faster, but then, if it did, I'd probably run away screaming because I couldn't keep up. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm just greedy for the good stuff, I guess. The game probably has the perfect balance on this account, really.
With all the great NPCs, I'd love to see more of them, but I also understand that that would put an unreasonable burden on you mods. So just consider this an "I love all the NPCs!!" declaration instead.
What I think could be improved about the El Nysa experience:
This is probably just me, but since there is so much lore etc. (and some of it maybe still in the making), sometimes I worry that I'll get things "wrong". I don't know if that can be avoided, though, so I just hope people will correct me where necessary.
In more practical stuff: in the past, I've found that some of the game info could be easier to find, in particular businesses on the one hand, and locations on the other. I feel like the two could be cross-linked more. I think the navigation in general has already improved a lot, but it's something to keep in mind maybe? That said, with so much information to link, I fully understand that it's not easy to keep the navigation page complete yet uncluttered!
Honestly, I'm just nitpicking here. The game is great. I really appreciate what you're doing with it. I think you've been good about setting hard limits for yourselves where necessary, too, and that's important! I hope things stay manageable like this.
