He's the kind of douchebag that will claim he's all for one thing and act for another. He claims he only lives for the blade, but will chide you if you call him a "samurai", he'll switch teams even if pledges alliegeance, he'll tell you "I'm only doing this because I need to surpass my goals" but you bet he has nightmares if he doesn't keep the person he's in charge of safe; he'll say he doesn't care, but he starts teaching you and giving tips on how to survive because he was an instructor back in the day and old habits are hideous. There's a lot of contradictions in this dude, but he mostly comes across as a bit of a crass asshole at first glance. ▶ Desired CR. While this guy is more used to dealing with rough-upbringing, gung-ho but distant kind of guys (from gangsters to military, really), I totally love it when he deals with people totally different so bring me your rugged muscle mountains and your peppy tiny shoujo girls, I'll love them all. ▶ Offered CR. Albeit he acts distant, Mamoru is used to getting into different roles - a reluctant but efficient leader (he's the kind of guy who's constantly doing tactical chess), a loner who will make sure you're just kept in the 'acquaintance' zone, someone who will spar (TO THE DEATH) and fight (TO THE DEATH) with you because he considers himself but a weapon, a protector and a teacher/mentor. ▶ Event Plans.
